Most any skilled computer repair specialist should have no problem replacing batteries. The swap-out should (typically) take only a minute or two to complete.

It's extremely easy, but you must know what to look for or you could easily tear one of the contact ribbons connecting the battery or ports to the motherboard.

In most cases you can save a LOT of money by purchasing a new battery from a reputable source such as 'Newegg'. Be sure to order the correct battery for your specific model.

Opening the case by a non-Apple authorized servicer, voids any possible warrantee.

Good luck

Nice!

Another example of why Apple continues to blow away all other competitors in customer satisfaction surveys.

I like my Ipod touch for connecting away form home but for just listening to music on the go the original iPod nano and the iPod classic are very easy to use since you are just using the center part.
On the touch to change song or volume involves first unlocking .
Apple service at the store seems very good .

The touch doesn't require unlocking anymore. The camera can also be used without unlocking now too which is a vast improvement!

Is that the Ipod touch 5 ?
My 4th Gen will only work {like the classic } if i set to never turn screen off & that setting drains the battery too fast

I don't know which generation it is. It has a camera and I bought it 2 summers ago.
It locks and shuts off, but if you quickly press the home button twice, music options come up, and the lock screen has a camera button.

Ha! Of course. A good tip I got from my nephew-you can take a screen shot by pressing home and the on/off button at the same time. The picture automatically goes to your camera roll.
