Did anyone see the little 2 man sub named Snoopy at Severne point the last 2 days ? The owner Alec is from Virginia. There are people from Maryland , N.Y.S. , and a journalist from France with them.The journalist is writing a story on Snoopy And the old sunken coal barge that lays on the bottom of Seneca Lake, a few hundred feet from shore.Snoopy runs on batterys. They have a web site http://www.psubs.org

The Observer's David Austen did a great story on the little sub, named Snoopy. They provided a link to the video shot by Alec Smyth and Laurent Bouvet.

They didn't get to the wrecked coal barge, they were to far north. What I found amazing was the amount of zebra mussel on the bottom!

They should check out Brandy Bay (Keuka Lake) for the old rail road car they say that is in there.
