Loc: Geneva, NY 		First metal show in Geneva, that I can remember in 10+ years, so invite whomever you want! If you want to bring metal back to the Finger Lakes, you should definitely come by!

Abhor (Progressive/Djent/Death Metal) - Rochester

Loc: West Coast 29 Palms 		JMO Metal bands suck. Southern Rock has to be some of the best music every played.

The last band that was Metal I seen at the Fayette Hotel all the fools were banging their heads on the stage and carring on like total idiots.

Loc: Geneva, NY 		You don't have to come if you wouldn't like to. I'm just trying to reach the people who would. There is a plethora of sub genres within the bigger overall metal one. I understand that some are better than others but as music is a subjective art, I feel that this comment is unnecessary to this thread.

I just want to reach out to the metal fans, and let them know that someone is putting on a show for them. Feel free to set up a Southern Rock show if you can. I know the Headless Sullivan Theater is interested in bringing all genres to their community space.

I agree with you that Southern Rock can be some of the best music ever played (Why limit yourself to one genre, when many great ones exist?), but as I don't know any local Southern Rock bands, I did not set up a show for that genre.
