Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested and charged James C. Reardon, 48, 24 Leland Drive, Seneca Falls, N.Y.with Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree. It is alleged that Reardon stole prescription medication from a co-worker at his place of employment in the Village of Waterloo valued at approximately seven hundred and fifty dollars. Reardon was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Waterloo Village Court on May 9th to answer the charges.

In December of 2010, Reardon was arrested and charged with DWI after reports that a vehicle he was operating nearly hit two vehicles head-on in downtown Seneca Falls.

Reardon is the Supervisor of Adult Protective Services in the department of Children & Family Services in Seneca County.

Well you're not allowed to buy that much at once of anything so that doesn't fly with me. And why have a lot at work anyways?

It depends on what the doctor has perscribed. what if it was like a 3 month supply.. what if they just picled it up on their lunch break, What if it is more then one med. Its totally plausible especially with the price of medicine now adays

I think you might be thinking about co pays. I had to buy plavix out of pocket before insurance kicked in and I shelled out about 500 dollars. If it was a controlled substance it can't be kept out of the bottle it came in. Has to be in the original container.

As someone else pointed out, he's civil service. It takes a lot more than a DWI to get one of them fired. And if he fights this new charge it may be months before they can permanently terminate him for over this.

Let me tell you first hand you do not want a DWI and be a Frederal Employee cause you just might get fired I know and I was the union president at the time. They made it a living hell at work because I hauled SW, no can do when you have a DWI. You can not drive onto the property ,drive no Gov vehicle no matter what, not even a forklift. It cost me lots of money to keep my job.

I`d give this man 6 months off no pay and to return to employeement he`d have to submit to a Drug&Alchol test as condition of employement be on probation for 6 months upon return if he did. Just maybe he`d learn a valuable lesson.
Some role model he makes.LOL

With that title, if he worked for the state, he'd be management.

No wonder the complaints on old lady cat hoarders aren't acted on. The Supervisor is stealing drugs.

Just one of my medications alone is $3,997/for a 30 day supply... That doesn't even count the 3 other meds I am on. Fortunately they are all only a $30/co-pay each after insurance.
