I happen to live in a place in which a large population of legal residents and citizens are still primarily Spanish-speaking. Like, if they're speaking Spanish you can't really tell that they're ACTUAL 'MERIKUNS! It's like, super crazy and mind-blowing. Like, seriously.

Side note: I've really missed the lengthy process of watching "making a new reply."
Find your words! I can't wait!

You didn't delete it fast enough, lover.
Are you done yet? I see I was right and could not help but take a shot at my parents too.
I didn't take a shot at your parents. I took at shot at you. What they think is as irrelevant as what my dead grandmother thinks, just because they all "came here speaking no English". Why not just discuss what you think vs. what I think? That seems fair, and less vulnerable to you or me interpreting what other people think to suit our needs.
That liberal tolerance continues to amaze me. It is one of my favorite things about liberals, along with taking things to extremes.
Taking things to extremes? Like complaining about American money printed in Spanish? Like throwing out ridiculous examples, like "why don't we print signs in German"? Like pointing out that people who are obsessed with making America ENGLISH ONLY are frequently inept at using the language themselves?
CALL ME AN EXTREMIST. I'm down.
If it makes sense to print something in a second language, like street signs in Japanese, because you have a lot of tourists, then by all means the local officials should be able to figure that out. Bravo.
Okay, so signs for tourists who visit for finite amounts of time=great. Signs for people who live, work, and spend money in that country every single day=bad.
I'm totally following this awesomesauce logic!
