The Town of Conquest would include Conquest, Cottage Corners, Duck Lake, Emerson, Hard Point, Haiti Island, Howland, Howland Island, Montezuma Swamp Wildlife Management Area ,Mosquito Point and Spring Lake
They undoubtedly took on more than they could deal with.

I can certainly see the animal charges, but I'm a little puzzled by the endangering charge. FI, there was no vid of the interior, or any statement about filth or feces inside. I'm guessing that authorities simply felt that it was unsafe for the kids to live in a junkyard/debris field.
Why the delay? I'm guessing that authorities didn't know about any possible bad conditions inside, and, out in the sticks, people aren't as often oppressed by zoning. If there are no close neighbors, maybe there was no complaint to act on, regarding yard trash, and authorities figured if they wanted to live like junkyard dogs or pigs, it was their right.
Man! Janet Reno should have attacked that place, rather than the BD compound; it looks far, far worse. Matter of fact, it looks as though it had gone already through a HE assault.
