A 34 year old Waterloo man is being held on drug charges after members of the Seneca County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division, Sheriff's Office Uniform Road Patrol, the Waterloo Police Department, and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team raided his South Seneca Street Apartment Tuesday. When they excuted a search warrant they found Brian J Belcher to allegedly be in possesion of nine individually packaged baggies of cocaine that weighed about ten grams.

Guess back again you don't quite know what you are talking about, his son doesn't live with him. Children don't belong in this topic!!

Well as of 1 year or so ago his child was in the house and if he no longer lives there im sure hes still present for visitation, Either way there are some things children should not be innocent bystanders too,

Once AGAIN, Back again, if YOU dont know what you are talking about than you shouldn't say ANYTHING at ALL! HIS CHILD HAS NEVER LIVED WITH HIM!!! Get your facts straight before you PUBLICLY BASH someone and that persons family!!

Hard to ignore all the late night traffic on South Seneca St -- it's been going on for years. Apparently this was not the first time "Brian Cocaine" has been popped for drugs and he received plenty of advance warnings that he was being watched...

The headline of Narcotic Trafficking is very misleading. 9 bags of cocaine isn't all that much (equivalent of a coupla eight balls that were stepped on). Given how long he was being watched, one would think they would have waited until he picked up an ounce or more before raiding the apartment.

His mugshot on FL Daily News reminds me of Eddie Haskell.

Back again loves to make things up and add details that aren't actually true but just something that he feels like spouting off about. Don't mind anything he says.

Ok well your telling me that his son has never once satyed the night at his house? And ill tell u your a liar. I live on south seneca street and have been dealing with this drug dealers constant traffic, drunken guests, and loud late noise for quite awhile. And his son has stayed there many a times. So dont sit here and tell me his child was never staying at that house, Whetehr he lived there full time or not is besides the point. And i think its hillarious that you folks are more upset about me mentioning the fact his son was put into a bad environment by the brian, and not the fact that Brian had his son staying in a dope house.

I agree! And...I love how they make light that it was just over 2 8 balls that he had possession of cocaine for. You know what, possession of any amount of cocaine is not ok and is illegal. Glad they took this low life down!!!

Why is it illegal to begin with?

That's a crazy question, but maybe the below will help you to understand it's powerful/devastating life-threatening side effects. Question for you - have you ever been around anybody who's abused the drug, who become paranoid, violent and abusive? Have you ever seen anybody overdose on this drug and be hospitalized or worst yet die from an overdose?

I've seen people out of their minds on alcohol, but it's legal. So again, I ask, why is it illegal?
