I'm sorry I've haven't been on in a few day. I see you have taken care of things. Most of the time, a cat vomiting a few times means little. Mine do it all the time. A vet would feel his GI tract for abnormalities. A little hair indicates he's been licking, so he could just have a hairball he's trying to get rid of.In the case of a foriegn body, he wouldn't be able to keep anything down, and may not have any stool. Be sure to check him for fleas, as they will lick and chew more than normal if they pick up a few. If he's acting normal, eating and drinking and no diarrhea, I don't see anything wrong with just watching him, but make sure he's urinating. The timing probably has somethng to do with what time he eats.
Keep us posted. \:D

Thank you Kitty. That is what my vet said too. He hasn't vomited in 2 days now.

Kitty, I do have another question, I changed his food to a sensitive stomach one is that a good choice? I've been mixing it with his normal food.

I know you had asked Kitty and I'm sure she'll answer, she's great with kitties, hence her sn \:\) However, when we needed to switch foods with either our cats or dogs we followed the below advice:

How should I switch my cat from one food to another?
Normal bacteria in the intestine help your cat digest her food. A sudden change in food can result in changes to the number and type of bacteria and their ability to help digest food. These changes can lead to intestinal upset. Therefore, a pet needs to be switched to a new food slowly. By 'slowly' we mean gradually over the course of 7-10 days. For example, make a mixture that contains 25% of the new food and 75% of the old food and feed that for several days. Then make it 50-50 for several days, then 75% new food to 25% old food for several days. Then you can start feeding 100% new food. If at any time your cat starts vomiting, has loose stools, or appears constipated, slow the rate at which you are switching the food.

That's not a bad idea, although a friend of mine fed her cat one of those diets, and it actually made him vomit more! Don't know why, unless he was allergic to one of the ingredients. That does happen at times. The hair makes me think it was the irritating culprit, though. Maybe a little Laxatone for hairballs a few times a week will help, too.
