Oh Bluezone, are you afraid of your own shadow too?

In California there is such a thing as a living wage, currently minimum wage is over $12/hour. My guys made $15, plus we paid their health insurance which was also mandated by the City we lived in.

If undocumented workers can provide a social security card and California state issued ID then the employer has satisfied the I-9 form. They would buy fake social security cards and that was a know fact.

And yes, you are one sharp tack. If they sent their money home it took money from the local economy. Not my problem, I did not care.

I realize it may be wrong for undocumented immigrants to come into this country, but can you blame them for trying to make something more for their families? I have been to many other countries where they live in squalor. I'm not saying that it's our fault, and that they should all come here and live for free. I think the system is just flawed. I know many families that have come here because of the terrible living conditions. It is unfortunate that now it takes 7-10 years for them to even become a citizen. If government would just cut through half of the bureaucratic BS they could be making more in taxes from these people. Not looking to start an argument, but sometimes when you look at things from another perspective it is a little more understandable. I'd also rather pay for their healthcare than the incredibly FAT americans that claim they are disabled. It is NOT disabled, it's called being fat and lazy. I don't see anyone complaining about them.
