I noted an ad for Television Fanatic. It is a free download that allows you access to TV from the major networks, sports, radio etc.

I did install it and in the process of evaluating it after running a security scan.

Has anyone else tried this program? If so,any problems to be aware of?

I did a search awhile back when I was looking for tv and got a warning about that site, so I would be interested in your experience on this site. Have you tried Project Free TV? I've been watching shows/movies on it for about a year. It has its problems, but for free you can't complain. Reading the forums will give you some insight as to some of the glitches and remedies. I wasted money recently trying netflix and hulu. Every movie I wanted to watch netflix didn't have or you had to get it in the mail. Hulu I think you need a Roku. Anyone have an opinion on Roku?

Time Warner advertises on their site. Only site I have found to watch 2 Broke Girls, Mike and Molly and Southland.

I had already downloaded before I saw your message. I did check and found some complaints. One said they had trouble removing it. I decided to remove it for safety sakes as I am unfamiliar with that web site. No trouble, went to programs and clicked on Television Fanatic and removed it. I will do a clean sweep for cookies etc when I have more time.

I used for an hour or so, found no problem, noted nothing out of the ordinary. Microsoft Essentials and Mcafee found nothing after scanning their site and my computer.

While I did not receive a warnng, better safe than sorry so I removed it.

Just finished up watching Seasons 1 and 2 of "The Big C." Very good show from Showtime.

Love the Tee! I gave up TV in 10/04, when I was 54. I figured that out of the dwindling time I had left, there wasn't a minute more that I wanted to waste on TV. I haven't regretted it a bit.

What's your status, if you'd care to share?

New eyeglasses would've been cheaper.
