I'm looking for an old school real barber shop in the Canandaigua, Geneva area. Not some fancy hair stylist place run by women. A good haircut at a decent price. I know about the place at Parkway plaza. Not a fan.

Wow! Some people are rude on here. DeMarco & Buckley Clifton Springs, they have a separate women's hair salon and a barbershop.

Melissa's Barber Shop on Seneca Street in Geneva is awesome. She is the owner and knows how to use clippers and a straight razor.
She is located across from Parker's in Geneva.

Open Mon, closed Tues, open Wed, closed Thurs, open Fri and Sat, cash only!!

This is the best! John is terrific. His dad, Jack, is deceased but it's still called Jack and John's, I think. Highly recommend.

It's on pre-emption on the left side (if you're heading towards North St/Co Rd 4) in the same parking lot as Geneva Glass and Frank's Garage. Right across from where UPS and Physical Fitness is.

And yeah, John is great. Jack is deceased sadly, but the place is still called Jack and John's. Old fashioned barber, always good times when you go in, only $11 for a haircut. A lot of people go just to go, not because they need a haircut. Also worth a note, he's closed Sunday and Monday's. Closes early on Saturday. I think he's open from early in the morning until 4 or 5ish during the week.

One reason I love this place (other than the fact that John gives a great haircut and is a nice guy) is the close father-son relationship that John and Jack had. John still honors his father and that's very touching.
