I think that if you really knew Tom then you would give him the benefit of the doubt. I honestly don't believe it, there just has to be some explanation. I know it sounds bad, but it makes absolutely no sense. He has a daughter the same age at that same school, why in the world would he do that. I say there is more to this story, at least I hope there is.

I just don't believe it's true and I am totally basing that on the fact I have known Tom since we were kids. If I am wrong then I will be the first to admit it. If this is true it will the most shocked I have been in my entire life. It just can't be.

Yep, Always because he/she was a "nice" a person, or if only you knew that person...hmmm but DO YOU REALY KNOW that person. Has to be some other reason why, never the offenders fault....Oh I am sure the girls were asking for it was the reason why..right?
..things are not always what they seem...

Just like the little league coach who was convicted of a sex crime from july 2010 for having forcible sex with his sons girlfriend, and forcibly touching her friend on two diff occasions? I love how people are like omg i never would of thought, theyare so nice and seemed so normal. News flash thats there job is to blend in u think they want to walk around with a shirt on that says hey im a pedophile lets hang out? No ,,,

It is unfortunate that the news portrays it the way they do, and notes biases based on their opinions of what the texts might have meant. In all reality, a joke with inappropriate language can be used as sexual harassment. What I do know of the accused, is that he has a huge heart, and has always been willing to help others out. He works in a vulnerable position, and it is possible that some of the things he is accused of were taken out of context, but unfortunately, everyone want to judge already without all the facts.

Absolutely true Teed! Do you happen to know Tom? We knew him in school. I personally cannot believe it, but stranger things have surely happened. People change over time, and things happen that drive some individuals to make very bad choices. The girl stated that he was asking her to move in with him, and he was giving her all kinds of gifts. Of course, that means he wants to eventually bed her.

dont judge what you dont know. in fact it could be your family next! this guy has lost a job, a mother, a father all in the same year. lets not even think that maybe some personal issues at home might be going on. he has given to society for years and has a family. all the gossip in the world doesnt put the answers or facts in your hands. some of you calling radio stations should not throw rocks when your homes are made of glass. good luck to tom spina and his wife and children. i hope its not what has been protrayed, although the damage has been done.
