Yea, cause trying anything to keep from killing babies is a step backwards?

Oh by the way, I am not pro-life, I actually believe that their might be reasons to abort a baby at sometimes. I just dont think it should ever be as easy to do as you do.

The decision to have an abortion is never easy. The problem is that YOUR reasons should not be legislated to become everyone's acceptable reasons. Why people choose to have an abortion is none of your business. If you don't like abortions, don't have one.
So it's okay to kill a child.

It's ok if nobody knows about it. That way you can won't feel guilty.

Everyone has a Constitutional right to privacy.

Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973)

Law of the land.

Why would you want to take away a woman's reproductive autonomy?
why would you want to kill a baby?

Spare your rhetoric Harley. Over 25,000 children in NYS foster care.

How many have you adopted?
Ahahahahahaha... same lame garbage.

No need to adopt when we can just advocate abortion...

To support a woman's right to reproductive choice and medical privacy is not to urge that anyone have an abortion, or to publicly recommend that she do so. I know what you mean, but the word goes too far.:

Kind of the same thing as saying that abortion is not birth control.

You didn't say, "advocate abortion rights"; you said, "advocate abortion". If you don't see the difference, we not only have a difference of opinion, we have a difference in comprehension ability, and a difference in the ability to say exactly what we mean.

I disagree with abortion rights for use as birth control.

I agree with the right to advocate.

I disagree that the vast amount of abortions are not due to birth control.

I agree that a mother has the right to live no matter...

I certainly agree that it's used for that far too often. I'm in favor of loving, respectful, responsible sex, engaged in with the full knowledge that birth control, even if always used, doesn't always work.

I believe in a woman's right to control her reproduction, and that abortions are almost always traumatic and a very difficult choice, for any person with a heart, and that there are far too many abortions.

The 1st thing I'd do though, is end the abstainence only advice, take human nature and hormonal drive into account, and push birth control, instead. The perfect is the enemy of the good, and if we want fewer abortions, that would be a good way to have fewer of them.

Instead of making pregnant women view videos of their unborn about to be aborted...Make it part of sex ed in school?

Let them all see the pain the baby goes through as it is ripped apart...

Let them see the "embryo" flinch and quiver and die as it is killed.

Absolutely, VM. No one is advocating abortion. No woman walks around saying, "I can't wait to get pregnant and exercise my abortion rights. You should get out there and exercise your rights too!"

This is how *real Christians* reward women who "choose life".

I call this the "abortion coupon" argument. The anti-choice (they aren't pro-life, nor are they anti-abortion--everyone is ANTI-ABORTION, including pro-choicers) movement tries to make pro-choicers seem like we encourage women to get abortions; like we think the government should be handing out coupons for free abortions.
