I wish the rest of America was as focused on reality as some of us are. I
I've pretty much stopped watching TV except for the History channels, Science and lately ID has had a few good shows. BBC plays some good movies.
I listen to audio books on my way to work and at my leisure, I read as much about History as I can. You see, I believe the ticket to a promising future is a full knowledge about the past. We are still the same humans throughout history and if we learn how not to act, we will all live in peace.
Did you know that the (extreme)Muslims have been at war with us since Hitler? They just love the idea of killing Jews and never stopped. Disgusting!
In my travels on the computer, I have learned that there are a lot of enlightened people like me. I think there are less of the people who just want to repeat past mistakes. It is disheartening to see that in my own community, here on this forum, that people think communism,socialism,marxism is the way to go. Are you INSANE!?! Think about it.
We shouldn't be bickering about abortion, we should be scared sh--less we are about to lose our currency, be forced to have vaccinations against our will and told to die at the governments request, we could lose our country.
Someone has "I don't want my country back, I want it to move forward" as a signature. I would rather do what works than embark on, well I can do socialism better than in the past. Let's try it. Stupid is an understatement. I want what the founders intended. It is brilliant and better than any other way on earth. I want it back!

Not a day goes by that I don't think of all the people who fight to keep our country safe. The land of the FREE and the home of the BRAVE!!!
As I've mentioned before, I work for a government contracted company who manufacture and provide equipment for our Armed Forces. Every Branch of Military has a flag hanging on our Manuracturing floor, along with the U.S. Flag and the 9-11 Honor Flags, one with all the individuals that perished on that day, another flag with all the Firefighters/EMT's/Rescue that perished that day.
There is no greater job (I don't think) than the one I have, I walk away each night from my workplace with a sense of pride. The greatest feeling is when we have our men and women who serve our country come into our facility and personally thank us for all that we do for our country. The best memory was when a person from our group shouted back to them, "No, thank you for all that you do for our Country". The soldier had a glisten in his eyes, as though he were tearing up a bit. That is pride!!!

No they didn't. They died while being suckered into being complicit in an illegal, preemptive, unnecessary and counterproductive war of choice. They were good people who died for no good reason. If you want something well worth crying about, forget those inconsequential celebrities, who don't affect our individual lives at all, and our country very little, and cry about something that really matters, such as US foreign policy. Smedley Butler just about nailed it some 70-75 years ago, and it's only gotten worse since.
The 1st thing any rational person should do is turn off the TV, never turn it on again, and stop buying into the propaganda. As an added bonus, you might be surprised at how fast you'll stop obsessing about featherheaded junkies like Lindsay Lohan.
