The Lawyers for the Village have filed a Motion to Dismiss the Article 78.

This motion will be decided by the Court on or after February 29, 2012. There will be no hearing on this motion, as it will be decided on the various documents that are filed in favor and in opposition to the Motion.

Should the Motion be dismissed, Judge Bender will set a new date for the hearing.

I don't beleive there has been any slandering of firemen. Just trying to hold people accountable. Yea, I know, the nerve of someone that dares to hold the village trustees and the firemen accountable is just plain despicable!! They're above the law right?

If the firemen and the trustees (in name only) can't stand being held accountable then tough tatas! just follow the laws and play by the rules and not prance around getting peed off and acting like we all owe you something extra (as in paying themselves and partying it up on the taxpayers)and nobody would have a reason to ask questions. The Firemen are some of the most dedicated and selfless individuals anyone could imagine and for that I salute you. But, they gotta do things right. This isn't the good old days when taxpayers didn't seem to care (as much)how their money was spent. Thanks for all you do but you're gonna do it by the rules or you're gonna get scrutinized and held accountable.

I would rather see the tax money go towards buying a Fireman a steak, rather than seeing it funneled towards the well fare rats, to buy they're cigarettes and booze. come to Canandaigua, you get all worked up over 40,000 spent on 75 firemen, we had one fireman make $72,000.00 last year, be thankful all those guys are still there, every member of that department deserves a steak, beer, a pat on the back, and your gratitude. Piss them off, there is nothing keeping them there, those fellas can walk out at any time.

by many many, you must mean the 5 or 6 nit wits that constantly agree with you, there isn't one member of the PYFD that disagrees with me, as a matter of fact there has been zero outcry by the residents in Penn Yan (with the exception of your low intelligence Champlain ave. crusaders) to disband the LOSAP the members stand behind their chiefs, why don't you just admit that you are on a personal vendetta to get willie, and when you couldn't get him professionally, you decided to go after the volunteer fire department he is a member of, and screw with 75 good standing citizens, just to get at willie you would drag down fire chiefs, firefighters, and village board members. you are truly sick, and the world would be a better place without you. If you think that insignificant you and grandpa Wayne, or wack-o johnny will gain respect in the community, or think that a single fireman supports you, or is thankful you three lowlifes are trying to screw them out of there service points, you are crazier than I thought, but then again two out of the three of you have a family history of mental illness. please seek professional help.
