Last night the girls varsity basketball game between Seneca falls and Penn Yan.Was thee worst officiating i have ever witness. We all know its just a game but Some if not all calls were totally called just to keep one team ahead. intentional tripping and elbowing and literially pushing to the floor going on.When the refs were ask about it they just said oh im sorry didnt see it.One Penn yan player pushed down right in front of the female refs feet no call.Next call within five seconds called Pennyanfor a foul that didnt even happen.putting a call to section 5 for the actions of those two refs. And shame on the Seneca falls coach for allowing his players to act in that manner. Is risking injury worth the trophy in the case.

WOW this hurt my eyes, spelling, grammar, lack of punctuation, wrong things capitalized. It sounds to me like another case of poor sportsmanship on behalf of the parents (meaning you.). It's called a game, not everyone can win. People see it only one way...the way they want to see it. Do everybody a favor, whether you thought it was fair or not, be a grown up about it, especially in front of your kids. And yet continue to wonder why kids are the way they are these days.

Wow grammar police are in the house.Got your rocket science degree do you? The only poor sportsmanship that was being shown was by two refs and a coach. We as parents had to sit there and watch the home team use elbows and trip and push their opponents to the floor just for a win.Close to 15 parents all saw the same incidents take place are we all wrong, I think not. And before you flap your gums know what your talking about.Oh by the way i wasn't writing essay. And far as the way kids act yes it does make one wonder how they are being coached. Are they taught to act in that manner ? obviously

it would seem to me that with a 1-12 league record and 3-12 overall record that you might wanna consider taking the blinders off and place blame(if there is any) where it belongs....first by looking in the mirror then asking your varsity coach.....whether you like it or not it is about winning, that's why they keep score!

Thank you SportsRef1. Some people just don't get it and wonder why kids act the way they do. This parent is obviously teaching their children poor sportsmanship. No matter what the outcome, I always instilled in my children, you walk away with your head held high and you never let them see it bother you. You also never lower yourself to their level!

Oh and yes, I do have a Rocket Science degree...it was well worth it ;\)

20 years from now, will this "game" make one hell of a difference? Granted sportsmanship is one of the integral part of competition yet from observation in the last several years, we are witnessing "parents" being more involved than the kids i.e. screaming at coaches and ref. ask yourself, after these games, are the kids on Facebook complaining about the unfair refs? Or is it more a case of parents venting here on the forum? Based on the some of the posts I've read, I wouldn't be so proud to call myself a mature individual when one person is corrected for spelling or punctuations. Kids are a mirror image of us and prayerfully some will become images of someone that truly represent character, maturity and integrity. I ask you to take the message for what it’s worth and not judge it on grammatically incorrectness because I may get mad and at times act very immature but I'm working on it.

You want to be taken seriously? Write in proper English, and maybe someone will.

I'm sorry i was just trying to get some insight from someone other than our self's, that attended the game. There was a lot of one sided bad calls that where made. One girl pushed right to the floor with full force right in front of the female refs feet.No call was made and ref stated she did not see it.Other than bad calls it was a good game.I'm not trying to bad mouth, just one of those games you had to see to believe.
