I am so happy for you! You can definitely rest easy now that you know he is safe! I just had a feeling that he was ok and just lost his way and some kind souls would take care of him until you could be reunited! Saint Francis really came through! Way to go Rose and Max for keeping an eye out and helping with this miracle!
The scent on his fur was probably from Max's cologne. I'm sorry that you only got a short reunion with him until your son came and got him. It sounds like your home was the only home he knew from the time he was a kitten.
Nice cologne. Rosebud, can I put your "street" on here? Some people want to know how far Arty got.
Thanks to everyone that called. I could kick myself for leaving my phone in my purse. I didn't hear it ring and I forgot to check it.
The Hometown Review is running a found/thank you ad. Thanks HT for running the lost and found ads for free. I'm looking forward to placing a found ad on craig's list to give people hope.
Finally, I have to say that I hate Facebook's new timeline. Now I have to figure it out all over again.
I will keep you updated on Arty's progress.

Even without his family jewels, Arty is still "the little bastard."
It's okay to name the street. I've already posted that Arty was found on Bridge Street. If he could talk, then we would be able to find out how he made it from Rumsey St., which is on the other side of the canal, to Bridge St. Be sure and let us know how he makes out at the vet visit. Ditto on the new Facebook format.

I was sharing this story with patients all day!!! Just so heart warming. So happy for all, it's a miracle he wasn't hit by a car, or attacked by another animal! Bet he doesn't try to sneak out again!!! WELCOME HOME ARTY!!!!

I am so very happy you finally found your baby. Its probably none of my business but perhaps it would be a great idea to have him neutered. Just because he is a male doesn't mean you should slack on your responsibilities. Just a suggestion!
