I dont believe they are duck blinds for shooting in a public park. They appear to be fully enclosed. Anything related to monitoring the lake with the salt mines directly underneath?

No they are NOT hundreds of feet away in fact. I walked over to them while I was wind surfing - 30 yards at best.
Have you been inside them?
Grown men hiding in black boxes...LOL Wouldn't it be easier to hide in the warm car at the parking lot and blow your feathered friends away from the window?

If you need a big black box in the lake to hide in you shouldn't be hunting in the first place
LOL! How would you hunt waterfowl then, if not with the use of a blind to hide from them? Would you use silver-tongued, silkily elequent persuasion to convince them to just surrender and plop down onto your serving platter? A drone strike, from an altitude that renders you invisible, perhaps?
