I need a good homemade chocolate recipe for a toddler. I can't buy from the store because he has a peanut allergy. Can you help?

Recipes for other homemade sweets that a toddler can eat are also welcome!

Chocolate what? There are peanut/nut free options available in stores, or are there other allergies to contend with? Tops and Wegman's carries Enjoy Life products, occasionally you can find the cookies at Wal-Mart as well.

Many, if not most companies that produce chocolate products are made in facilities that also process peanuts and that CAN (not necessarily but CAN) trigger some allergy responses in sensitive kids.

I'm not sure that I think that a toddler has a need for chocolate or other empty sugary calories but a good google search should turn up some resources and/or recipes. The thing is, most recipes use some form of prepared chocolate that itself may have been made in a facility that also processes nuts.

Chocolate chips- Hershey's or Enjoy Life usually available at grocery stores.

Baker's Chocolate (in box) can chop up the white as safe store bought white chips are impossible to find. Vermont Nut Free has them, as well as Skippers (m&m look alike). Can use the squares of baking chocolate for killer brownies as well.

Betty Crocker cake mixes/frostings.

Pepperidge Farms frozen cakes are Peanut/nut free.

As always check the labels every time as manufacturing plants and processes are constantly changing.

There are also cupcakes available, pre-packaged, that are manufactured in a peanut/nut free facility (it will specifically state that on the label. Some of Wal-Mart's little mini cupcakes state this on the ingredients label, you just have to be careful checking labels.
