And common sense tells us pumping thousands of pounds of explosive gas under a lake is....
There's already gas stored under there. Has been for years with no problems. This is just a expansion. People like you who don't have any idea of reality try and make a big deal out of nothing.
More than a person who operates a chip machine all day... Easy on the fries, they cause heart attacks..
I don't know about that. Overpaid AG staition employees who have to beg the state to keep their jobs and can't see a windmill turning. Not really the sharpest knives in the draw.
Casella pays their grants too, we've been through this already (a.k.a. banned diesel man, gasguy, wiseguy...etc...etc)
No spinning today, no wind.
HECTOR -- An overflow crowd of predominately anti-fracking residents packed the Hector Town Board meeting room Tuesday to ask the board to approve a one-year moratorium on gas drilling in the town.

You'd better look again. Overflow crowd of how many 25. That's a real majority. Put it up for a statewide public referendum and see what happens. Anti-frackers don't dare and do that because they know what will happen. These moratoriums are a moot point because they will be overridden.
Uh oh...now the banks might not like it either...oopsy...
Mortgages for Drilling Properties May Face Hurdle By IAN URBINA Published: March 18, 2012 The Department of Agriculture is considering requiring an extensive environmental review before issuing mortgages to people who have leased their land for oil and gas drilling.
billions of dollars worth of home loans are made directly or underwritten each year by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, the Federal Housing Administration and the Veterans Administration. He said those lenders might feel compelled by the Agriculture Department’s decision to study their own policies.

Two words considering an might. According to you the windmills might not turn but guess what they are. LOL!
You're for the wack job activists who try and hold up any projects in the state that might create jobs and bring in tax revenue. That's why this state is in the condition it is in. Plus add to that all your freeloader buddies sucking up all the freebies they can get.
At 7 million gallons of water per frack well, is it any wonder their salivating over the finger lakes?
COLUMBUS, Ohio —By JULIE CARR SMYTH The Associated Press Mar 09, 2012 @ 11:02 AM
A dozen earthquakes in northeastern Ohio were almost certainly induced by injection of gas-drilling wastewater into the earth, Ohio oil and gas regulators said Friday as they announced a series of tough new regulations for drillers.

My estimate would be that their were at least fifty people present at the meeting - maybe more as it was standing room only and into the hall and vestibule. Most, like me, were there in opposition to fracking. While you may not consider this a majority, keep in mind that what I am finding at these meeting is that the faces change. By this I mean it's not the same 50 people every time - more likely hundreds of different people coming out at different times. I dare to guess that if they had larger facilities they would have larger crowds.
