Time Warner Cable has lined up another spring launch for its DOCSIS 3.0 service, this time in Wayne County, N.Y.

The nation's second-largest cable operator had previously announced this month the rollout of its Wideband Internet tier, which features download speeds of up to 50 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 5 Mbps, in Rochester, N.Y., and the Triangle Area of North Carolina.

According to a story in the Wayne Post, Time Warner Cable's Wideband Internet will be available this spring to both residential and business customers.

Time Warner Cable didn't say how much the residential service would cost, but it's priced at $99.95 per month in Charlotte, N.C Click here!. Time Warner Cable's business-class Wideband Internet was launched in Cincinnati last year with a price tag of $349.95 per month, while the cost is $289.95 in New York City.

DOCSIS 3.0 subscribers will also be able to connect up to five wireless devices simultaneously once the service is enabled.

Loc: NY USA 		This is probably why my Road Runner internet service has been running awful in the last few weeks? Mail service is terrible- very important messages have not been delivered. Fortunately, I have friends and co-workers telling me they did not receive my emails. I've called and they say the problem isn't theirs. That's probably because my problem isn't in the little book the guy with the heavy accent uses to answer my questions. I knew more than he did! I hate paying so much for internet and not getting good service. That's all I ask for-just good would be fine with me, as long as it works for $40 a month!

Loc: NYS 		I switched to DSL through Verizon. $40 for internet and phone.
