The spray foam insulation is the best thing since sliced bread. It is light years ahead of traditional rolled or loose-fill blown-in insulation. Foam has a high R-value and it fills all voids and gaps creating a much more efficient insulating layer than you can achieve with the more traditional products.

It is a little more expensive if you consider hiring it out vs. diy fiberglass but I think you'll be happy with the results.

Closed cell will not develop mold. And air transfer is eliminated when properly applied.

How is the A/C unit working?
are your gas/electric bills lower?

Heat has been on a few times. The bills have been, in my opinion, have been real tolerable. I am on the budget, and since the new budget cycle came in August, they have been cut by more than $60.00 for the new billing. The whole house has been finished now, and as for heat, I have it set at 64, and the house holds the temp. quite well. I think when the real cold stuff gets here, if I raise it up to 65 or 66, it will hold its own as well. I am quite happy with the whole thing so far.
