I have my first story to work on so keep the tid bits coming. Interested folks can sign up for a copy by sending me an email. I'll either do a website or send copies in document form via email. Not decided yet. You want a means to print the real news, so lets get at it. Shooting for July 10th or so.

What are you going to do? Email your news to the PYPD?

Do you have to FOIL anything to get the info in the police beat, or do they just mail/email it to the press that requests it?

First off I don't fight with everybody, just nobody's... ;\)

As far as bringing up what is cheapest, do you have advertisers lined up? If not a website ill be you best bet, printing will get expensive, email is ok, but with a website you can at least have google ads to bring you some (maybe not much but some) as your site grows with popularity you can always have providers of online advertisers get you a better rate for providing ad space.

A dotcom will cost you $11 bucks per year and you can get away with free hosting until you NEED paid hosting.

Don't spend too much of YOUR money on this, not until you are sure it will pay off. ;\)

Thanks SK, I doubt I will seek out paid advertisers for a while yet. Maybe in the future. For now it will be via email and if I can get a cooperative website, there too. Not looking to design it twice. Still checking it all out.

Samuel---An idea for your gazette:

The PY Village Board is having a Public Hearing on the Proposed amendment to the Ethic Law on Tuesday, July 20 @ 6:05 at Village Hall in PY.

I have the proposed law in a PDF format. The proposal was taken from a model from NYS. An important change would be the hiring of 'relatives'--the definition of a relative has been broaden to reflect changes in our society.

It would be great if some people showed up at the Public Hearing supporting the changes.

I email (stewartr@roadrunner.com) or PM me and I'll email you back a copy of the proposed law.
