Does anyone know of a good and free DVD decoder download? I searched a couple of them, but they all came with extra stuff that wanted to be downloaded with it. That kinda scared me off.
It is a program that allows for the playing of DVD's (movies) on your computer (assuming that you have a DVD player on your comp). If you bought your computer premade (Dell, Gateway, Compac, HP, etc.), then it probably has one preinstalled. But, if you built your own computer, then you might not have it.
Having the DVD hardware does not mean that you have the software needed to watch the DVD.
