Cornell investigates campus assault

Cornell Police are looking for a male who struck a Cornell student following a verbal dispute late Thursday evening.

The incident occurred on the Arts Quad near McGraw Hall at 11:52 p.m., Cornell University Police said. The suspect, who was with a male and female, hit the victim in the head, they added.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 6-foot-2 with blond, wavy hair but a balding pate, police said. His male companion is described as white, about 5-9 with short, straight hair. His female companion is described as white, about 5-3 with light brown hair.
