You can call the village and find the answer to that question. I called to find out when they would be picking up limbs etc. and they said it would be sometime before picking up leaves. So my guess Jeremy, is it would be in the next couple of weeks, but give them a call for confirmation..

My bill had a note that said, everything needed to be at the curb by 11/30, but I assume they will pick up perodically before that as they usually do.

I asked and at the Village Office and they told me that they won't start until Nov. 2. They'll do at least two sweeps around the Village. They told me that they don't do limbs in the Fall, only in the Spring.

YES, they do do limbs in the fall!! I spoke with the street boys themselves and they are going around the village first to get all the limbs FIRST before doing the leaves, so if you have some limbs, get them out to the curb!!

Hey McLovin, mine says the same thing but when have you known the village to do something different than what they advertise?????LOL!!! I contacted the "boys" directly and was assured they would be picking up limbs FIRST so they don't inadvertently pick them up by mistake when doing "just" leaves.

Was I suppose to put out my limbs first? I was told by the Village Office that they don't pick up limbs in the fall--only in the Spring. It makes sense that they don't want to get brush mixed up with the leaves, but I was wondering about the limbs I collected this fall.

Looking at the big picture, this is small potatoes. Let's put this behind us until Sprlng.

Sorry McLovin, I won't put it behind me until spring because I was told by village employees that they would indeed be around to clean up tree limbs, brush etc. I have a pile out by the road and I don't want that there until spring!! Taking a drive around the village I see I am not alone...many people have limbs, etc. to be picked up.....if the village doesn't pick it up I can foresee some "little" fires sprining up!!

Good point. I usually respect your opinions and I don't want it to be a negative event for us.
