It's free folks. I pay for no protection by only using free programs. And trust me, I am all over the internet. Although I do contribute to some developers.
I've been using AVG for years and don't have a single complaint except, as Dr D says, it's a huge resource hog.
Sigh...I hate change, especially in software, but I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and move on to the one's Dr D and OT posted. Thanks guys.

I don't know, I go to some pretty seedy sites. Currently use Norton Antivirus.....have had good luck with it catching things...Although I just paid 20 bucks for a 2010 upgrade, I also feel like I am being taken....

I have been a part of the testing for about a year, its rock solid and as odd as it sounds uses so little resources after its first major scan you might even see a preformance increase.
Let me know if you see a difference in preformance vs. AVG or the other antivirus that you used previously so that I might be able to report back to the Big Giand Head in Redmond Washington.
Ok, I'm convinced. Maybe not using AVG will stop these dang scripts running on my pages! I have no clue why all of a sudden they started, but they are seriously getting on my last nerve and that's not a good thing!
Heading to the site to download now.
