Wow! We ate there for the first time on mother's day. It was wonderful. The food was good, the interior was fantastic and it appeared that the entire family was working....Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa. They seemed to be having fun too.

I have eaten there a few times and the food was excellent. It is just sad that a once nice little town like Clyde has gone to the dogs. I was shocked at the conditions of this town. It would be nice if the community would for once support one of there own. There is no other restaurant there. So come on people support this one so they will not lose this little gem.

I remember what a nice, clean little town Clyde used to be. It is sad to see how it has been allowed to fall into such disrepair.

I'm not sure if you've been through Clyde lately, but they have been replacing all the sidewalks in the "downtown" section and it looks much better!

What is it like in there? What type of food? What are the prices like? I am always up for trying something new.

What good is replacing the sidewalks doing when the buildings and homes there look like trash. And all the rift raft hanging around the streets. Never thought I would see the the day when Columbia Street looked better than main st.

Hey, you have to start somewhere. Why not the sidewalks? Let's try to be a little more positive here! I drove by the Brick Oven on Sunday with a local Clyde resident who said that she has eaten there several times and that it has fantastic food and a great atmosphere. And, yes, she said that it doesn't seem like it belongs in Clyde!
On another topic, I found this interesting information on riff-raff or as you stated; "rift raft" :
I once heard in a documentary about steamboats on the Mississippi river that while the wealthy could afford to travel on steamboats, poor people could not and used small rafts that were called "rift rafts". From that term came the term "riff raff" meaning poor people and later "people with whom you did not wish to be associated".

Listen, some of that rift raft had their middrifts showing too.
