Yes I feel for the pain and surgery/recovery coming his way...
but I do believe it gives AFC east a more even field to work with.

I've fulfilled my end of the deal. Now, your soul is mine. Can you please notify Belichick that I will be collecting him and his video tapes in the coming weeks once I finish with Archie Manning and sons?

I do feel for Brady, I don't wish that on any player.

Buffalo will rule the east this season. No Brady in New England means no challange for Buffalo. The only thing we have to worry about is Farve, but he will be on his back the whole game.

Honestly, I think w/Brady down, it's gonna be the Bills and the Jets. Jets won't be a given win this season.

Re: aw so sad - 09/20/08 01:31 PM

Don't count the Pats out yet. Brady is just one of their weapons. Although he is the biggest one.

Re: aw so sad - 09/20/08 01:46 PM

And I believe the Pats have the hapless fish tomorrow. That ain't gonna be pretty.

Re: aw so sad - 09/23/08 11:58 AM

Those fish weren't so hapless afterall.
And you're right, it wasn't pretty.

Wow how morbid, I would never be glad to see some one get seriously hurt, and if that's the only way that your team can win is because of that reason, that's even sadder...how about seeing what your team can do against a better team...you are a sad person mastersteve

I wasn't happy to see Brady go down, but it sure makes it interesting. Who'd have thought Miami would be the one to break the winning streak?

as funny as that sounds...i saw on ESPN that the win streak started in 2006 after a LOSS to MIAMI...so..its only right that they ended it lol

Re: aw so sad - 09/24/08 05:41 PM

I have friends who are Miami fans, and they had a field day w/the win. We kept looking at the jumbotron in Buffalo, expecting NE to come back...unbelievable.

so IF the Penn Yan football team were playing a school who's star player got seriously hurt in the game, you'd be the one on the sideline jumping up and down with joy?...nice, real nice sportmanship

Re: aw so sad - 09/24/08 06:15 PM

I would hope not. It does make for an interesting season, but I'm sure no one really wishes a serious injury on anyone. I was there last year when Kevin Everett went down. It was so emotional. In the usually very loud Ralph, you could hear a pin drop, it was so silent. To see him walk on the field in tribute at half time at the home opener was amazing.

i say once again, bug off lennon, i have a right to my opinion

Re: aw so sad - 09/25/08 03:52 PM

You people read into comments to much...its not like i know the guy, and its not a career ending injury...which i would never wish upon anyone..its a superficial injury he will return next season, i was just stating i was glad he was out because other teams will havea shot...face it..he was all there team had..look at the loss to the dolphins...pitifuul...shameful..
